Welcome to the mobile applications developed and provided by Advecta ("we," "us," or "our"), including AutoLoop, ApeXed, and any related software, tools, or services (collectively, the "Services").
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using any of our applications, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use our apps.
By accessing or using our apps, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. You also acknowledge and agree that you are solely responsible for compliance with any applicable local, national, or international laws.
Advecta develops intelligent driving utility applications designed to assist drivers with route documentation, tracking, and performance recording:
AutoLoop: Functions as an automated dashcam application designed to record video/audio, capture events, and overlay real-time GPS travel data on-device.
ApeXed (Track Day & Performance): Functions as a precision GPS performance, drag strip, and lap-timing tool designed to monitor speed, split times, G-forces, and telemetry data.
a. Lawful Use: You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of our apps complies with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations in your jurisdiction. This includes laws regarding data privacy, single or multi-party audio/video recording consent, and distracted driving.
b. Privacy & Consent: Recording individuals, conversations, or private spaces without explicit legal consent may be unlawful in your area. It is your strict responsibility to obey local recording laws. We hold zero liability for your failure to comply with local surveillance or privacy laws.
c. Distracted Driving & Safety: Operating a motor vehicle requires your full attention. You agree to use our apps responsibly, mount your device securely, and never interact with settings or menus while actively driving. Using our apps does not override your legal obligation to operate your vehicle safely and attentively.
d. Performance and Speed Timing: Features intended for track or performance timing (such as acceleration metrics or lap splits) must be used strictly in accordance with local speed limits on public roads, or reserved for closed-course track days and legal motorsport events.
e. On-Device Local Storage (No Cloud Backup): All media files (videos, photos) and performance records (telemetry, lap history, JSON traces) are saved exclusively on your local device. We do not operate servers that collect, store, upload, or back up your personal media or session data. You are entirely responsible for backing up your own device storage. We accept no liability for lost, corrupted, or deleted files.
f. GPS and Sensor Accuracy: While our apps utilize advanced algorithms and hardware sensors to log speed, location, and G-forces, accuracy can be heavily influenced by environmental factors, weather, poor satellite line-of-sight, or device hardware constraints. You agree not to rely solely on our apps for precise legal speed measurement, navigation, or critical telemetry.
a. Our Content: All software code, UI design, text, graphics, and branding associated with AutoLoop and ApeXed are the exclusive intellectual property of Advecta.
b. Your Content: You retain full ownership of all video recordings, photos, track layouts, and telemetry data generated through your use of the apps ("User-Generated Content"). Because data stays locally on your device, we claim no rights to access or use your personal driving files.

OUR APPLICATIONS AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIM ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE APPS WILL RUN UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT GPS/SENSOR DATA WILL BE FLAWLESS AT ALL TIMES.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ADVECTA, ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES—INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL—ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, OUR APPLICATIONS. THIS INCLUDES ANY FINES, ACCIDENTS, LEGAL PENALTIES, OR VEHICULAR DAMAGE INCURRED WHILE OPERATING A VEHICLE USING OUR SOFTWARE.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Advecta and its directors, employees, and agents from any claims, legal actions, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from your misuse of the apps, violation of these Terms, or violation of any third-party rights or traffic laws.
Our applications are not directed at anyone under the age of 13. By using our apps, you confirm that you meet or exceed this age requirement.
We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time. Material updates will be posted on our website with a revised effective date. Continued use of the apps following any changes constitutes your formal acceptance of the updated terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles.
